David S. Lowry, 47, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2013.

He was the beloved husband of Tricia Edwards Lowry, father of Kaitlyn, Hannah, Trey, Duncan, Hunter and Aidan Lowry, son of Ed and Claire Lambert Lowry, son-in-law of Mary Edwards and brother of Molly Nobile, Paul Lowry and Todd Edwards. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and numerous other family members.

He was a native of Norco and a resident of LaPlace.

Relatives, friends and staff of St. Charles Catholic and Tulane University are invited to attend services. Visitation will be held at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church, 1809 Greenwood Drive, LaPlace, on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Destrehan. In lieu of flowers, Masses or donations to Blessed Francis Seelos Church, New Orleans, or the Lowry Family Fund are preferred. Arrangements are by Millet-Guidry Funeral Home of LaPlace.
