One of the goals of the Parent/Community Involvement Committee at St. Charles Borromeo School involved adding signage to Louisiana Highway 48. With the help of Senator Gary Smith, his staff and the Department of Transportation and Development, signs were installed on both the east and west sides of River Road directing visitors to the school in January. Posing for a picture are Student Council representatives Zachary Jaubert – fourth grade, Morgan Gunnels – fifth grade, Elizabeth Engler – sixth grade, Committee Chair Andrea Lambert, Alli Perilloux – eighth grade and Secretary, Principal Mary Schmidt, Dylan Hutchins – eighth grade and Smith.
