Donald J. Keating, 76, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Reiko Okamoto Keating and the father of Barbara Keating. He was a retiree of Kaiser Aluminum and was a U.S. Army Veteran. Keating was a native and resident of LaPlace.

He was the son of the late Eddie and Viola Alexander Keating. He was the brother of Maisie K. Abadie, Malcolm and Terry Keating and the late Larry Keating.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend services. Visitation will take place at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home in LaPlace on Friday, March 8 2013 from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Visitation will be followed by religious services in the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery in Reserve.
