St. Peter Chanel School announced that Kim Bordelon Bourgeois is the recipient of this year’s Distinguished Graduate Award. Bordelon is the business development coordinator for Louisiana Federal Credit Union. She is an extraordinary volunteer. Her engaging personality encourages others to participate. Through the years SPC has greatly benefitted from her willingness to share her talents as a member of the CHASA Board, School Board, Recruitment Committee and co-chair of the Capital Campaign to build a gymnasium. She believes that “a Catholic education is a gift for life. It provides the moral guidance we need to navigate our journey through life.” Bordelon has also received the Mother Seton Award, River Region Chamber of Commerce Volunteer Award and Leadership Award. She graduated from St. Peter Chanel in 1981.
Bordelon is married to Marcel Bourgeois and has two children, Brandon and Kristen.
