LAPLACE – On Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 100 block of East 24th St. in Reserve for the report of a shooting. When deputies arrived, they found a male victim with a gunshot wound to his head. He was identified as Anthony Young, 34, of Reserve.  The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was injured.
