LAPLACE – St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Brianna E. Johnson, 18, Wednesday for filing a false imprisonment report against her live-in boyfriend, Alonzo J. Wilkens.
A warrant had been issued for Wilkens’ arrest, but he was never arrested.
Last Saturday, Johnson said that she was involved in an altercation with Wilkens at their residence in New Sarpy. Johnson claimed that Wilkens held her at gunpoint throughout the night. On Feb. 10, Johnson filed an official report with these allegations. A warrant was then issued for Alonzo Wilkens for false imprisonment, simple battery, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Johnson told the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday that she had fabricated the story because she was angry with Wilkens. Johnson was booked on the charge of criminal mischief – false report.
