Esther Bossier Olivier, 94, was born Nov. 27, 1918, and passed away Jan. 22, 2013. She was a native and resident of Gramercy.
She is survived by her sons, Pliny Olivier Jr., Richard Olivier, James Olivier and Charles Olivier; daughters, Phyllis Robichaux, Marie Olivier and Mary Edwards; and  sister, Marie Foret. Her survivors also include numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pliny Louis Olivier Sr.; her parents, Joseph Bossier and Ida Folse Bossier; her daughter, Margaret Mary “Peg” Pippenger; brothers Joseph Bossier Jr. and Leo Bossier; and sisters Ida Steib, Helen
Becnel and Evelyn LeBlanc.
Visitation and services were held Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gramercy. Burial followed at St. Joseph Cemetery in Paulina.
