SCC Krewe de Charles Bal Masque XXVII

St. Charles Catholic High School announced the Royal Court members of the Krewe de Charles Bal Masque XXVII, “Puttin’ on the Ritz.” The members of the court raised more than $30,000 for the school. The annual carnival ball will be held Saturday, Jan. 19 at 7 p.m. in the school gymnasium. Admission is $10.
The King and Queen, who will represent Fashion of the Roarin’ ‘20s, are Luke Matthew Poche’, son of Dr. Randall and Pam Poche’ and Renee Antoinette Richard, daughter of Dwain and Shelly Richard.  
Both the king and queen are very active students at St. Charles Catholic High School, and both maintain over a 3.0 GPA. In addition to excelling academically, Poche’ is captain of the baseball team, retreat team leader, and a member of the National Honor Society. He has also been recognized twice as first Team All-District for baseball. Richard is a SCC cheerleader, National Honor Society member, Student Council secretary, Retreat Team member and Eucharistic Minister.
In keeping with the theme, the King’s Bodyguard is Luke Matthew Jackson, son of Robert and Lisa Jackson. Pages to the Queen are Lucy Brigitte Eckhardt and Sophia Marie Eckhardt, daughters of Sean and Joanna Eckhardt.
Other members of the court are: Duke David Paul Bleakley, son of Cliff and Caroline Bleakley, with Maid Karleigh Michele Landry, daughter of Michael and Doreen Landry; Duke Jason Patrick Andrepont, son of Alan and Tanya Adrepont, with Maid Elise Marie Loisel, daughter of Gregory and Jeannine Loisel;  Duke Austin Joseph Matherne, son of Durel and Anne Matherne III, with Maid Victoria Grace Michel, daughter of Michael and Ronny Michel.  The Royal Escorts for the ball are Logan Jacob and Andre’ St. Martin.
