Shooting suspect turns himself in

LAPLACE — Tevin Bolden, 18, the suspect in the recent shooting death of Michael Lee, turned himself in to St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office Detectives on Wednesday, Jan. 9, at approximately 1 p.m.
Bolden was booked and charged with second-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, aggravated criminal damage to property and illegal use of a weapon. His bond has been set at $760,000. He remained incarcerated as of press time Friday.
