The first responders of St. John the Baptist Parish were honored at Blue Mass at St. Joan of Arc Church. Members of the Sheriff’s Department, Fire Department, EMTs, State Troopers and parish government attended the celebration. During the Mass the guests were thanked for their unfailing service to our community.

With the difficult times the parish has faced in the last few months, this year’s service was especially meaningful. After Mass the vehicles of all departments were blessed, and the guests were treated to a lunch of a variety of food items donated by local businesses as well as members of the community.
