New Orleans, LA November 27, 2012 – 101.1 WNOE is bringing in country stars the Eli Young Band, Jerrod Niemann, Kristen Kelly and Brett Eldredge to the Southport Hall on Dec. 11, with 100 percent of ticket proceeds to benefit the four St. John Parish Police Officers injured and killed in the line of duty in the August tragedy.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. VIP tickets are also available for $100 and include artist meet and greets. There will also be a silent auction with autographed items from country music stars and New Orleans Saints players.

“We’re thrilled to be able to bring national acts to a local level to benefit the brave officers who have sacrificed so much,” WNOE Program Director Don Gosselin said. “These men and their families have made the ultimate sacrifice. We want to give back in any way we can.”

The Eli Young Band is now 11 years into a career built on touring without a single lineup change. They received their first platinum record for “Crazy Girl” and have sold more than 1.5 million downloads of the track. Jerrod Niemann is an American country music artist, active since 2001, and his sophomore album “Judge Jerrod & The Hung Jury,” debuted at No. 1 and yielded the No. 1 hit “Lover, Lover” and the Top 5 single “What Do You Want.” These artists are donating their performances at absolutely no cost to ensure as much money as possible goes to the families.
