SCC crowns Homecoming Queen

St. Charles Catholic High School students and alumni celebrated homecoming recently. The celebration included a motorcade featuring the homecoming court wearing suits in shiny convertibles, followed by the crowning of the homecoming queen at halftime. The SCC Homecoming Court were voted on by their peers.  

The SCC Homecoming Court and Alumni Escorts included eighth-grader Victoria Ivey, escorted by Michael Wright, Class of 2008. Freshmen representatives included Alyssa Arceneaux escorted by Christopher Waguespack, Class of 2006, and Emma Remondet escorted by David Rollo, Class of 2005. Sophomore Mia Every was escorted by John Nicosia III, Class of 2007. Junior representatives included Allison Arcuri escorted by Stacey Richoux, Class of 1985, and Jordan Davis escorted by James Callahan, Class of 2006.  There were a total of six senior members of the 2012 Homecoming Court: DeNair Clark escorted by Jesse Martin, Class of 2005; Meredith Keating escorted by Steven Keating, Class of 1994; Chelsea Loupe escorted by Zachary Loupe, Class of 2011; Renee Richard escorted by Ty Monica, Class of 1998; Maggie Trepagnier, escorted by Josh Gonzales, Class of 1999; and Taylor Vaughn escorted by Courtland Taylor, Class of 2009.  

Senior Chelsea Loupe, daughter of Chris and Wanda Loupe, was crowned St. Charles Catholic’s Homecoming Queen. Loupe is currently a pitcher on the softball team. She was also a member of the volleyball team for three years and the swim team for one year. Senior DeNair Clark was named as the Maid of Honor.
