Eliana DeFrancesch, St. John the Baptist Parish clerk of court, advises all St. John Parish voters: Before going to the polls on election day check the secretary of state’s website, www. sos.louisiana.gov,  click on the election tab on the side bar to the left, then click, “Where do I Vote” and enter your name, date of birth and parish, and click search. This will give your poll location.  

Alternately, you can call Betty Madere, St. John registrar of voters, at 652-9797.

Also, make sure to bring a photo ID with you to the polling place.

This will insure that the voting process will go smoothly and reduce your waiting time.
