Destrehan (4-2, 2-0) at East St. John (2-4, 1-1)) — It could be East St. John’s last stand, and it comes against a Destrehan team that’s looked like the resident force in District 8-5A so far. Expect both sides to have their best game ready to go.

White Castle (6-1, 2-0) at West St. John (3-3, 2-0) — Barring a major upset over the last two weeks of the season, this game will determine at minimum a share of the District 9-1A crown.

St. Charles (4-2, 2-0) at Brusly (6-1, 2-0) — The winner of this game will also be the favorite to pull down district championship honors. The Comets are scorching hot, but Brusly is another legitimate 3A contender.

Riverside (2-4, 1-2) at Carver (4-2, 1-2) — Two explosive offenses will take the field in this 9-2A showdown. A Riverside victory would make the postseason an extremely tangible goal.

Higgins (2-3, 1-1) at Hahnville (2-4, 2-0) — The Tigers are in “district championship or bust” mode. This is Hahnville’s last homegame of the season, and it comes against a formidable Hurricanes’ team.

Lutcher (6-0, 4-0) at Belaire (0-5, 0-3) — The Bulldogs attempt to move to 7-0 and will be heavily favored to do just that as they face a winless foe. LHS has allowed just six points over the past four games.

St. James (0-6, 0-2) at E.D. White (5-2, 1-1) — The Wildcats come off of their most productive offensive game of the season. Their defense will have to play well against a Cardinals team that scored 38 last week in a win over Donaldsonville.
