St. John Library and Le Petit Theatre, a Participatory Theatrical Experience, introduces young Patrons from ages 5–12 to the inner workings of theater on a small and intimate level.

Today, 6–7 p.m., Le Petit Theatre presents “The Perfect Brain,” written, produced and directed by the Central Library’s Carly Maurin with assistance from circulation’s Dawn Monica.

“The Perfect Brain” is a quirky puppet show with specially commissioned music combined with a more than liberal dose of comedy, complete with custom designed puppets and props by Maurin.

The plot will be revealed at showtime, and there will be an unexpected surprise.

“We have roles for up to 12 participants, and of course adults are most welcome to attend,” said Maurin. “In fact, they might get caught up in the moment, and who knows what kind of comedic hi-jinks will unfold!”
