Palmisano

Joseph J. Palmisano, Sr., 76, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 13 at St. Charles Parish Hospital in Luling. He was a Maintenance Foreman for International Matex Tank Terminals for 23 years and a veteran of the United States Navy.

Joseph was the husband of the late Julie F. Palmisano, the father of Vicki P. Centanni (Tony), Joseph J. Palmisano, Jr. (Mary), Kevin P. Palmisano, Gina Achord (Scott) and Tammy Westbrook (Ray). He was the brother of Carol Way, the late Rosemary Mancuso (the late Charles) and the late Luccio Frederick Palmisano. He is survived by 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; Gertrude St. Pé and Joseph Peter Palmisano.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 16, from 8:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. at H. C. Alexander Funeral Home, 821 Fourth St., Norco. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Paul Ernewein. Military Honors will follow at Garden of Memories Mausoleum, 4900 Airline Highway in Metairie.
