Hahnville’s Sergio Medina rushed for 81 yards and a touchdown in the Tigers’ win over East St. John.
East St. John was led by Leonard Davis, who passed for 230 yards and rushed for two touchdowns.
Kylum Favorite rushed for 111 yards and two touchdowns on just 12 carries in the Rams’ win over Ascension Catholic. WSJ quarterback Austin Howard also shined, completing 14 of 16 passes for 250 yards and three touchdowns. Jeremy Jackson rushed seven times for 128 yards and two touchdowns.
St. James’ D’Kwan Sandolph passed for 113 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 130 yards and another score in the Wildcats’ loss to Brusly Friday.
In Lutcher’s 25-0 victory over St. Michael, Ruston Matherne was sharp, completing 20 of 23 passes for 176 yards and a touchdown. Matherne also made an impact with his legs, rushing for 156 yards and a pair of scores, giving him a hand in five overall on the night.
For Riverside, Deuce Wallace passed for four touchdowns and 224 yards, completing 17 of 24 passes. Jonquial Sanders scored two touchdowns, rushing for 106 yards and tallying over 80 yards receiving. Herb McGee caught eight passes for 100 yards and two touchdowns. Brandon Zimmer accounted for 71 total yards and two touchdowns on just four touches.
St. Charles Catholic’s Austin Weber rushed for 67 yards and a touchdown, while passing for another score in SCC’s 35-0 win over Port Allen.
Will Matthews rushed for 144 yards and three touchdowns as Destrehan overpowered Ehret. DHS QB Donovan Isom accounted for almost 300 total yards and three total touchdowns, and wideout Michael Smith caught five passes for 136 yards and two scores.
