A Mass of Christian Burial for Madeline Perilloux will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Colfax, La., with Father Kurian Zachariah officiating. Burial will be in the Colfax Cemetery, under the direction of Kramer of Colfax.

Perilloux, 86, died Oct. 12, 2012.

Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emile Petrolia of LaPlace, preceded her in death.

Perilloux, who was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, was an active member of the ladies’ altar society and served as a Eucharistic Minister. She was an active member of the community and was honored by the Louisiana Pecan Festival for devoted service.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 67 years, Reed Perilloux of Colfax; two daughters, Madeline Owens and husband, Ronnie, of Robeline and Eileen Gauthier and husband, Tommy, of Hessmer; one son, Chip Perilloux, and wife, Shay, of Natchitoches; two grandsons, Rusty Owens and wife, Becky, of Robeline, and John Gauthier of New Orleans; one great-grandson, Hunter Owens of Robeline; one sister, Josephine Dufresne Paine of La Place; and a host of other family and friends.

The family requests visitation be observed at Kramer of Colfax on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Monday from 9 until 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Kramer of Colfax.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Owens, Tommy Gauthier, Rusty Owens, John Gauthier, Keith Dufresne, Sammy Bonnette, James Crooks and Greg Morris. Hunter Owens will be honorary pallbearer.

Lectors will be Tommy Gauthier and Mary Eleanor Bonnette.

The family would like to express their greatest appreciation to all of the staff of Oasis Hospice for their wonderful and compassionate care that was given to Madeline.
