Rosemary Bagby, 85, passed away at her residence on Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012. A native of Huntington, W.V., she lived in Norco since 1953.

She was the wife of the late Jack Pennington Bagby, daughter of the late Zelma Lee Holt and John Earl Hilsheimer, mother of Linda Bagby Lowry (Gary) and Jimi Bagby (Patrice), sister of Kathryn McCaleb of Huntington and the late Earline Beveridge and Robert, Martin and William Hilsheimer, grandmother of Johnny Walker (Linette), Joey and Michael Lowry, Brandon (Rebekah) and Jennifer Bagby and great-grandmother of Maggie Walker, Eisley Bagby and one on the way.

Rosemary had a joy for life and a true love for people.  

Visitation will be held Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at First Union Presbyterian Church, 134 Lakewood Drive, Luling. Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. at the church with interment to follow in St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum, 13396 River Road, Destrehan, with the Rev. Walter Hackney officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ochsner Department of Philanthropy, Cannon Hospice or First Union Presbyterian Church. Arrangements are under the direction of H.C.
