David “Uncle Dave” Casanova, 60, passed away Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, at Ochsner Extended Care Hospital in New Orleans. He was a supervisor for River Marine Management for 20 years.

He was the husband of the late Pamela Dinet Casanova, father of Igel Gibbins (Bennie), Rhonda Howell (Ronnie), Holly Tamborella and James Tamborella Jr. and brother of Lawrence “L.J.” and Joe Casanova and the late Glenn Casanova and Beverly Knight. He also had seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many friends.

Visitation will be held at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home, 821 Fourth St., Norco, on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. Celebration of life services will be held at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to H.C. Alexander Funeral Home, 821 Fourth St., Norco, LA 70079.
