Thirty-three members from River Parishes Hospital’s Senior Friends Program took a chartered bus trip to Baton Rouge on Thursday, July 26, for a guided tour of the Rural Life Museum and the New State Capitol. The group also enjoyed lunch at Picadilly Cafeteria.

The chartered bus trips are just a few of the many activities available to seniors through the hospital’s Senior Friends Program. Members also receive discounts in the hospital cafeteria and gift shop, in the Fit At 50 exercise classes, and at several local businesses in the River Parishes area. In addition, members receive valuable health, wellness and travel discounts through the National Association of Senior Friends.
