Local dancers score big at competition

Tori Lynn’s School of Dance of Kenner and the River Parishes recently won top awards at Kids Artistic Dance Revue National Dance Competition in Baton Rouge. The Starlets competed with hundreds of dance schools throughout Louisiana and surrounding states. The entire dance troupe was rewarded an exclusive invitation to participate in the Kids Artistic Dance Revue New York-New York Summer Dance Intensive for their technical dance skills and showmanship during the competition. They will experience classes with dance professional from across the United States and have the opportunity to see several Broadway shows in New York City.

Lynn W. Lewis is the artistic director of Tori Lynn’s School Of Dance. Other instructors are Brejon’ Lewis, Ashley Lewis, Candace Lewis and Celeste Tumblin-ltervey.
