Jean Harris Wright, 82, died Saturday, July 14. She was a native of Bernice and a resident of LaPlace. She was the wife of the late Otto Wright; mother of Brenda Vicknair (John Drew), Donna Oubre (The late Ronnie) and Terri VanCamp (Bobby); grandmother of Nicole (Grant), Jaime, Kelly, Misty (Wayne), John, April (Eric) and Stephen (Sara); great-grandmother of Kailee (Chris), Hunter, Rhett, Braiden and Rylee; daughter of the late Stone and Alma Harris; sister of R. B. Harris. Visitation will be held today from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, 2806 W. Airline Hwy. LaPlace, and Thursday, July 19 at Shiloh Baptist Church in Bernice from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Religious Services will follow at the church. Burial will be in the church Cemetery.
