Baton Rouge — Two Gramercy residents and one LaPlace resident were among 175 graduates awarded the Juris Doctor Degree from the Southern University Law Center during the 2012 Commencement, at the F. G. Clark Activity Center on the Southern University, Baton Rouge campus.

Congressman Cedric Richmond of the Louisiana Second Congressional District in the U. S. House of Representatives gave the 2012 Commencement address.

The graduates are Kelly Vicknair Delbasty and Adam Joseph Koenig of Gramercy and Adrianna Jacenta Williams of LaPlace.
