During her valedictorian address at graduation, she quoted Malcolm X: “Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare for it today,” informing her classmates, that the class of 2012 is prepared for the next chapter in their lives. Her message to her classmates was simple. Her parting words were “Be strong in all of your efforts and be confident in the teachings that were instilled here at Ascension of Our Lord School, and from our parents, and progress will be inevitable.”

Hill plans to live by those words as she continues her education and athletic career at St. Charles Catholic High during the fall. She realizes the discipline needed to maintain her grades and be an athlete.
