Girls ages 3-12 in St. John the Baptist Parish have been learning dance moves this week from the East St. John High School Sugarettes. The dance team, which consists of 22 dancers, is holding its annual minicamp through Friday for about 37 young girls. The weeklong camp will culminate with a performance Friday for Parents, but the true purpose is to prepare the girls for a full halftime performance at the first East St. John High School football game this fall.  (Staff photos by Robin Shannon)
