The John L. Ory Magnet Distinguished Gentlemen took a two-day college road trip to Jackson State University, University of Louisiana at Monroe, Grambling State University and Louisiana Tech University. The eighth-grade students dressed in their shirts and ties and visited with college recruiters and toured each campus. They learned about admission requirements, degrees offered, organizations/activities and sports. Club sponsors Christal Sylvain and Monica Brown and community partners Calvin Berry and Raffeal Neal chaperoned the group.
