Alexis “Lexie” Angelette, daughter of Lowell and Tricia Angelette of LaPlace, was valedictorian of Archbishop Chapelle High School and co-valedictorian of St. Joan of Arc in LaPlace in 2008. She received Suma Cum Laude, 13-years perfect attendance, the Ochsner’s Future Physician award and the Exxon Mobil Academic Athlete award. Angelette was a member of the National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta. She will attend LSU in the fall, majoring in pre-med biological sciences.
