Barbara Bienvenue Scioneaux, 81, passed away Saturday April 7, 2012.

She was the beloved wife of the late Horace “Cracker” Scioneaux, mother of Lynne S. Borne (Whitney), Timmy Scioneaux (Delanea) and the late Keith Scioneaux, grandmother of Holly Borne, Jason Borne (Margaret), Mikie Borne (Brittany) and Elizabeth Borne, great-grandmother of Brittany Marshall and Bryson and Brianna Borne and daughter of the late P.J. and Doris Morrow Bienvenue.

The family would like to extend special thanks to River Region Hospice.

She was a native of Mansura and a resident of LaPlace for the last 72 years.

Visitation and services were held at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home in LaPlace on Tuesday, April 10, 2012. Burial followed in St. Peter Cemetery in Reserve.
