With the much anticipated film “The Hunger Games” recently released, the seventh-grade teachers at Harry Hurst Middle School decided to take part in the games as well.
In an effort to create excitement and curiosity about the award winning book, each teacher took on the role of a character by dressing the part. The novel was incorporated throughout the day during the students’ reading and writing classes. With such an overwhelming response from the students, the seventh-grade teachers look forward to planning similar literary events.
