Collette “Peche” Labbe Radecker, 74, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012, at North Oaks Health System in Hammond. She was born in Gonzales and raised in Norco.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Clarence “Brother” Radecker. She was the mother of Roger K. Oubre, Barney B. Oubre (Diana), Ricky L. Oubre (Michele), Dawn Agurcia (Carl), Roxanne Brady (Mark), Charmaine Parent (Bret) and Darren Oubre, the stepmother of Michael Radecker, Mitchell Radecker and Vicki Lynn Lambert (George), the sister of Charmaine “Boots” Labbe, John L. Labbe and the late Barry Labbe and the daughter of the late Gaston “Blackie” Lewis Labbe Jr. and Alfletta “Flip” Mire. She had 26 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home, 821 Fourth St., Norco, on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, from 8 a.m. until 10:45 a.m., followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Fr. Terry Becnel and Rev. Kim Carmouche officiating. Burial will follow at the Park Lawn Cemetery in Hammond.

The family wishes to express special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at LTCH Specialty Hospital and North Oaks Health System in Hammond.
