Adolph “A.J.” “Son” Delaneuville, 80, passed away Monday, Feb. 20, 2012.

He was the beloved husband of Aurelia Melancon Delaneuville for the past 57 years and father of Stephanie Boudreaux (Mike), Jody Vicknair (Donald), Dirk Delaneuville, Elizabeth Babin (Robert), Wade Delaneuville Sr. (Beth), A.J. Delaneuville Jr. (Yvonne) and the late Todd (Lucky) Delaneuville. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

He was the son of the late William Igar and Emilie Landry Delaneuville and brother of Laura Lee Lehrmann and the late Marion Duhe. He was a native and resident of Reserve.

Visitation and services were held at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home in LaPlace on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012. Burial followed in St. Peter Cemetery in Reserve.
