LaPlace – Students at Wee Care kicked off the year learning about how God made eveything unique and special. Wendy Cartozzo, author of the book “Beaux the Blue Crawfish,” shared her story and a game to help teach the students that despite differences, everyone is special and should embrace and accept these differences as something wonderful. In addition, Cartozzo brought with her a live blue crawfish. Cartozzo got her inspiration for the book from her children, Evan and Hannah.
