Alice Lear Roussel, 62, passed away Monday, Jan, 23, 2012, as a result of an accident. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina.

She is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Ernest J. Roussel. She was the sister of Robert “Bobby”, Eric, Ronald “Ronnie”, Wayne “Smokey”, Chris “Cobra”, Jason “Link” and Mary Lear and the daughter of Mildred Brignac Lear.

She is also survived by eight sisters-in-law, four brothers-in-law and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Onezime Lear, paternal grandparents James and Lillian Lear, maternal grandparents Norman Sr. and Beatrice Brignac and an infant brother, Thomas Lear.

Visitation and services were held Friday, Jan. 27, 2012, St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Alexander Funeral Home, P.O. Box 843, Lutcher, LA 70071, to assist the family during this tragedy.
