Louis J. Parham Sr., 63, passed away Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, at his residence in Metairie. He was an electrical contractor for 40 years.

He is survived by his son, Louis J. Parham Jr. (Alexandria), sisters, Aleshia P. Bouysou (Drew) and the late Mary Bass, his mother, Glory Ann Schellinger Nelson, four grandchildren, Alexandria Lee, Riley, Jackson and Jordan.

Visitation and services were held Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012, at H. C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco.

The family extends special thanks to the employees of the Guardian Angels Hospice, to the aids, nurses and physicians for the kindness and consideration shown to Louis while under their care.
