Charles “Charlie” A. Mancuso Sr., 81, passed away Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011, at East Jefferson Hospital. He was a native of Kenner and a resident of Norco for the past 48 years.

He was the beloved husband of the late Rosemary Palmisano Mancuso, loving father of Charles “Chuck” Mancuso Jr., Larry Mancuso (Jamie), Patricia Mancuso, Debbie M. Dottolo (late Brother) and Tanya M. Doherty (Michael). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a sister, Josephine M. Becnel.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Josephine Mule’ Mancuso, and a brother, Lee Mancuso.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WW II, a member of the VFW Post 7732 and Fratellanza Italiana Di Santa Rosalia M.B. Kenner Society.

Services were held Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Kenner. Interment was in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Destrehan. Condolences may be offered online at www. hcalexanderfuneralhome.com.
