River Parishes Hospital announced its monthly art winners for the months of September and October. The winners for September are Christopher Clay, a student at the St. John Child Development Center, and Crystal Smith and Raven Tureaud, students at LaPlace Elementary School. The winners for October are Kayla Caronna, a student at LaPlace Elementary School, and Clare Carmouche and Remy Barbara, students at New Sarpy Elementary School.

Each student was awarded a $50 savings bond compliments of Capital One Bank and River Parishes Hospital. A reception will be held at the hospital in December, at which time three overall winners will be selected from all of the monthly winners. These winners will receive $150, $100 and $50 savings bonds for first, second and third place, respectively.
