Roy L. “Shine” Madere, 82, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011, at his residence in New Sarpy. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and the owner of Roy Service Center in New Sarpy for over 35 years.

He is survived by his daughter, Dawn M. Cortez (Maurice Jr.), granddaughter, Mallory M. Cortez, and two brothers, James and Dale Madere.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Chase Madere, parents, Richard and Clothilde Madere, and brothers, Daniel and Ralph Madere.

Private services will be held by the family at a later date.
