Local recognized for outstanding performance

Candice Florent-Murphy, a mathematics teacher at West St. John High School, received the ETS Recognition of Excellence in acknowledgement of her outstanding score on the Praxis Series “Principles of Learning and Teaching: Grades 7-12” assessment. Her exceptional performance earned a score that ranks within the top 15 percent of all test takers, who took this assessment in previous years. This achievement indicates a high level of proficiency in an area critical for professional educators.
