NEW ORLEANS — As the Girl Scout organization nears its century mark, Girl Scouts are recognizing the 50 million Girl Scout alumnae its movement has produced, including local WWL-TV morning news anchor Sally-Ann Roberts, who will serve as mistress of ceremonies at the Girl Scouts Louisiana East’s fall luncheon. The council’s annual fall fundraising luncheon is set for Thursday, Nov. 3, noon – 1 p.m. at the Audubon Tea Room in New Orleans with a meet and greet at 11:30 a.m. Luncheon sponsors include Entergy, Little Brownie Bakers and Valero St. Charles Refinery, with additional sponsors being sought.
