Rita Vicknair Duhe, 87, passed away Monday Aug. 29, 2011.

She was the beloved wife of the late Murphy Duhe, mother of Irene Landry (Raymond) and Philip Duhe (Mary Ann), grandmother of Lisa Vicknair, Michelle Mastainich, Rob Landry, Andrea Williams and David Hackney and great-grandmother of Jenna, Jake, Zack, Ava, Marley, Luke, Mick and Connor.

She was a native and resident of Reserve. She was a member of the St. Peter Choir, president of the League of the Sacred Heart, taught CCD, was a recipient of the St. Louis Medallion and chairman of the Msgr. Eyraud Sainthood Committee.

Visitation and services were held at St. Peter Catholic Church in Reserve on Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011. Burial followed in St. Peter Cemetery. Arrangements were by Millet-Guidry Funeral Home in LaPlace.
