Lawrence “Tenon” Berthelot, 66, passed away Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011.

He was the beloved husband of Evette Trosclair Berthelot, son of the late Clarence and Evelyn Jacob Berthelot, brother of Robert (Carla), Clarence Jr. (Mary) and the late Alan (Mary Lee) Berthelot and godfather of Cindy Faucheaux, Cary and Travis Berthelot and Joey Marse. He is also survived by numerous brothers- and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.

He was a charter member of Reserve Volunteer Fire Department, lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus and a St. John Auxiliary Police Officer.

He was a native and resident of Reserve.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend services. Visitation will be held at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, 2806 W. Airline Highway, LaPlace, on Monday, Sept. 5, 2011, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church in Reserve at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery in Reserve.
