Irma Smith Jennings, 81, passed away on Monday, Aug. 22, 2011.

She was the beloved wife of the late James “Jim” Jennings and mother of Pat Jennings, Bobbie Jennings (Shirley), Sandy Bourgeois (Ronnie), Teresa Roberts (Charlie), Anna Billiot (David), Mike Jennings (Robin), Angela Jennings and John Jennings (Leda). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 17.5 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Raymond Blevins.

She was a native of Kentucky and a resident of LaPlace.

Visitation and services were held at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home in LaPlace on Thursday, Aug. 25, 2011. Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery in Paulina.
