The Belle Terre Civic Association announced their August 2011 “Yard Of The Month” winner.  Bradley and Etta Luminais of 308 N. Canterbury Dr., were recognized as the monthly yard of the month contest winners. 

At a recent membership/board meeting of the BTCA other upcoming activities were discussed. Oct. 11 will be the date of the group’s annual Night Out Against Crime to be held again at the open lot at the corners of St. Andrews Boulvard and Doral Drive.

The group also approved the following events: on Thursday evenings Sept. 15 and 22 to arrange for two political forums pertaining to the upcoming elections – candidates, times and places to be announced shortly; their second annual Halloween and Christmas decorating contests with more details to be announced; their annual food drive for the St. John Ministry of Care on Saturday, Dec. 3; and their annual association Christmas holiday party on Thursday, Dec. 8.
