Jimmy Clark, formerly of LaPlace, passed away July 14 from injuries sustained in a car accident. 

Funeral services were held at New Hope Baptist Church in Bloomburg, Texas, on July 16. 

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Wanda, sons Jeff and Jason, daughter Laura and three granddaughters, Chelsea, Janelle and Kaitlin Clark. 

He retired from Nalco Chemical and was a United States Marine Corps veteran.
