Alton C. “A.C.” “Chief” Duhe Sr. passed away peacefully at his home on Aug. 1, 2011, at the age of 76. He was a retired desk sergeant with the New Orleans Police Department and owner of River Parish Polygraph and River Parish Locksmith. He also worked at Bayou Steel as an EMT and served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Gloria Duhe, and sons Alton “Butch” Duhe Jr., Steven Duhe (Terri), Timothy Duhe (Trudy) and Evans “Buddy” Duhe (Dawn). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He is the son of the late Sidney and Leoda Duhe and brother of Dottie LaBranche, Yvonne Richoux, Catherine Weber and the late Lloyd Duhe and Lorraine LaBranche.

Visitation and services were held on Thursday, Aug. 4, 2011, at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco. Fr. Terry Becnel was officiant. Family and friends are invited to send their condolences to www.hcalexanderfuneralhome.com.
