LAPLACE – Changing Faces Outreach Society held a voting registration drive Saturday at New Orleans Hamburger and Seafood Restaurant in LaPlace.

Seventeen people registered to vote and were given T-shirts created by Leroy Taylor of Lefthand Kreations.

Changing Faces is a local non-profit organization that strives to offer programs that allow people of the community to elevate themselves to the next level in their lives. Its goals are to bring families together and rebuild the community as a team.

Changing Faces will be hosting more voter registration drives in the upcoming weeks before the election.
