Time to plant summer garden and heat-tolerant tomatoes

With the onset of high temperatures and hot sunny days, many vegetables that were planted in the spring are completing their production cycle and are beginning to die. These vegetables will usually not set fruit during days of high temperatures and tend to suffer severe insect and disease damage. The only vegetables that may continue to produce quality fruit may be your okra, peppers and sometimes cucumbers and eggplants.
