Gov. Bobby Jindal recently signed into law a bill criminalizing the sale or possession of synthetic marijuana and illicit “bath salts,” which had been temporarily banned since January. To be sure, the measure is a step in the right direction to get these dangerous and unregulated substances off the streets.
