The Louisiana Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run was held recently. About 20 Special Olympic athletes ran, walked and biked an eight-mile course which went from LaPlace to Reserve. St. John Sheriff’s Office raised over $2,000 for the Louisiana Special Olympics. Some of the athletes the participated are (left to right) Jalin Johnson, Milton Albert, Sheena Greene, Jonquoin Williams, Matthew Guichard, Joseph Guichard, Theodore Gray, Jarrod Turner and Christopher Chandler.
